Electronics association strated functioning in the month of June 2015 itself. WE started by honoring our senior batch who secured 100% result in the sixth semester examination.The Electronic association is running a store for supplying books and stationaries to the students. Record books for all branches of the institution is supplied by the association.We are also circulating journals like Thozhilvartha and employment news. WE have provided financial aid for the industrial visits.We have given Rs 3000/- for the final year students and Rs 2000/- for the second year students.The office bearers of the association were as follows.

The Finishing school aspires to refine the quality of Diploma Engineers and to improve their employment skills in order to make them successful in the job market.

The Govt. has decided to introduce 'Visiting Faculty Scheme (VFS) as a program to extend the service of experienced teachers and experts from industries to the Govt. colleges in the state. It has been carried out with great spirits so far and it is still in its course on a high note with experienced hands from esteemed organizations, senior faculty from reputed institutions and experts from industries and consultancy services.
In this academic year, we have conducted the following programs:

The PTA an important wing of our college was very supportive for the smooth functioTiing of the college. It takes much care of academic and infrastructure development of the college. In order to discuss the academic performance of the students, parents' meet has been conducted frequently. Class PTA of all branches was held and marks of examination were distributed. Individual performance of the students was discussed in the meeting.
College Union
The College Union was inaugurated by Drama ArtistMohammed Perambra. The Arts Day
programmes were inaugurated by Indian Voice fame Vaisakh. The students competed in various items and excellent off stage and stage performances were rendered by the students.
Sports and games
The Department caters to the physical and recreational needs of students. The department boasts of facilities like Fitness Centre for the students of the college
This year our Physical Education Department put up a spectacular performance. Our students performed well at the inter-poly level meets.

The major highlight of this year's activities was the 7 day annual special camp from 20 to 26 December 2015. The camp was inaugurated by Smt. Saraswathi, President Thamarassery grama panchayat after a colorful procession by the residence and volunteers. The camp was a successful with the participation of 52 NSS volunteers who actively contributed their sincere services. The activities included in the camp were environment seminar engaged by Sri. Sarath Chandra Babu (district coordinator, NSS Kozhikode), Socio Economic Health Survey with awareness of drug abuses, road cleaning, school compound wall construction. Karate and swimming training, plant sapling in 213 houses, repair of electronic equipments.
NSS arranged a blood donation camp with support of government Beach Hospital & HDFC and on 11.10.2015
The World Environmental Day was celebrated by a project named planting seedling on 5th June 2011" Green Road" and inaugurated by District Panchayat President, facilitated by District Collector.
NSS arranged a medical camp with support of HDFC and W & C hospital on 24.11.2014

Anti-ragging Committee and Squad were constituted in this institution. The committee and squad performed their duties and responsibilities properly.

CDTP

CDTP-'Community Development Through Polytechnic' Scheme was introduced in our college and has been functioning smoothly. The CDTP aims to eradicate unemployment in rural areas. To offer technical training to unskilled laborers in rural area, to popularize economical technical devices which would improve the life style of the villagers, to support, encourage and elevate the social-economic and cultural realms of these people, to offer necessary guidance and counseling for rural business concerns, to boost self-reliance careers are some of the objectives that are envisaged by the CDTP. Keeping in view the six main tenets of the CDTP- such as socio-economic survey, Manpower Development and Training, Transfer of Technology, Technical services, Support service and Dissemination of Information _ skill development courses were conducted at main center and seven sub centers. A number of people benefited out of these courses and have obtained jobs in the respective areas and have become self-reliant.
Continuing Education Cell (CEC) The continuing Education Cell was established in 2003. The cell aims at providing education and training for school dropouts, to provide self-employment.The Course offered by CEC are Fashion Designing, Beautician Course, Coaching Class for various competitive tests. Project work guidance etc.

Production and Training (PAT) Centre

A Production and Training Centre was started in this institution in 2 01 Sand functioning effectively.
The PAT Centre is a place where production of articles, relevant to the branch of study of trainees, takes place in a smaller scale. All the activities in the 'real "industry such as sales forecasting, product design, production planning, production, QC, sales, advertising, marketing and after sales operations, are emulated in PAT Centre. The product has to be market relevant and should be of latest technology. All the necessary training to upskill the trainees are provided. In this process, the entrepreneurship qualities of students are also stimulated. In the PATCentre, production of LED Lamps is envisaged. This include procuring latest epitaxial high wattage LED's, assembling them with necessary circuits such as constant current drivers, and encapsulating them in attractive casings. 500 LED bulbs and 5 LED tube lights are manufactured during past years.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC)
An Innovation and Entrepre neurship Development Centre was started in this institution in this academic year and functioning effectively. The IEDC was inaugurated by Mr. K.M-.Imbichali, Principal. The inaugural function was presided over by Mr. K.A. Rajmohan HOS (Electronics). The chief guest of the function was Mr. Christo George Chairman & Man- aging Director of Hykon group of companies.Mr. Christo George shared his experience as a leading and fast growing entrepreneur in the state with the students. The mission of the IEDC Scheme is to "Develop institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture in academic institutions to foster growth of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty and students"

Conclusion:
